SPRING WILDFLOWERS
Andrea de Kerpely-Zak is a Hungarian born artist that has lived and shown in the U.S. over 35 years. Her Wildflower paintings were compared with and published with Georgia O’Keeffe in Arizona Highways.Her flowers are called, “Healing,” Two of her works were commissioned for Pope John Paul II.de Kerpely-Zak has created a special series of Wildflowers for this show which includes African Daisies, Mexican Gold Poppies and more.

The show features works by Andrea de Kerpely-Zak and daughter Andrea Zakrzewski. de Kerpely-Zak was published with Georgia O’Keeffe and featured in Arizona Highways, Home and Garden and on NBC, KTVK Ch 3 and more. Her works are called,”Healing,” and have been commissioned for the likes of Pope John Paul II. Daughter Zakrzewski paints akin to her mother in a palette knife style and loose impressionism. She is inspired by the impressionists such as Monet and Van Gogh but her biggest inspiration is her mother.

Andrea de Kerpely-Zak is a Hungarian born artist who has lived and shown in Arizona for over 40 years. Published with Georgia O’Keeffe, her flowers have been called “Healing,” and even been commissioned for Pope John Paul II. Daughter Andrea Zakrzewski has been exhibiting in Scottsdale for over 13 years and is a graduate of Arizona State. She is known for her palette knife style, which adds texture.
